St. Paul Central Scholarships

The Committee reviews written applications (usually over a hundred) annually and interviews finalists in person. It administers scholarships awarded on behalf of individual classes including the Class of 1963, 1995, 1996, and 1998. In addition, the Committee administers the Laura Turner Scholarship, named for one of the founding members of the St. Paul Central Scholarship Fund.

Each recipient of a Scholarship administered by the St. Paul Central Scholarship Fund receives all of the following:

  • A one-time $7,500.00 cash scholarship held by the St. Paul Central Scholarship Fund and distributed to the student or on behalf of the student for any education-related expenses for the four years following the awarding of the scholarship;

  • A mentor to serve as a resource for the student; and

  • Access to a network of St. Paul Central Scholarship Recipients and mentors.

Any senior at St. Paul Central High School is eligible for a scholarship for use toward their continuing education. St. Paul Central Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, residence, age, disability, class, or any other status triggering a heightened level of judicial review.
